Andrea Navedo is an American actor and author. The actress began her career by performing in daytime soaps like One Life to Live or Guiding Light, and later had roles as a supporting actress on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo is an American actress singer born on the 10th of October, 1977. She was born in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo's career in acting started with soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, Navedo appeared on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live in the role of Linda Soto. The actress joined in the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. The actress began her career on film with a small part in Girl 6 (1996), and later, she was a part of the episodes New York Undercover (1997) as well as The District. Navedo starred with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo played a role in the NBC crime drama Law & Order for a regular role as the detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. Then, he appeared as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo starred in many other films as well including El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo has also played several characters who appeared for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! is a film that featured Navedo.
